Nano Curcumin is well tolerated at doses as high as 8 grams in divided doses (or higher at the discretion of your health care practitioner). It stays in the bloodstream for approximately 6 hours and as with all anti-inflammatories, works best if it stays in your blood stream. Therefore, 3 or 4 servings a day is best for optimum results. Nano Curcumin chelates heavy metals (binds with them to remove them from the body) including iron, so if it is taken with a meal, it could possibly cause anemia at higher doses. Therefore, taking the product between meals is best unless you are trying to decrease iron levels. Nano Curcumin is water soluble, so it can be taken with any liquid, but it absorbs bestwith a liquid that has some oil in it such as almond milk, coconut milk, goat milk or cow's milk.
